ABOUT US

The Network “Lusophone Connections: dictatorship and democracy in Portuguese” is formed by researchers from several Portuguese-speaking universities. It aims to conduct research in partnership and present its outcomes through publications and participation in collective events. In this way, its main purpose is to produce and disseminate knowledge regarding Social Sciences in the lusophone world, with emphasis on the areas of History, Sociology, Political Science, and Anthropology.

 

Researchers from several lusophone countries or who produce research about them are gathered there. All are linked to Postgraduate Programs.

 

Created on 21st March 2016 its activities commenced with the publication of a collection of works that express the research fields developed by its members. Participation in the collections is open to all interested researchers as long as they respond to the proposed notices.
